Empowering Australia’s next generation of composers through mentorship and orchestral collaboration.
The Australian Young Composer Program is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of classical composers by fostering advanced skills in composition and orchestration among high school students across Australia.
Through personalised mentorship from Australian composers and collaborative partnerships with community orchestras, youth orchestras, and chamber music festivals, the program supports the creation, development, and performance of new student works.
Our mission is to build a culture of inclusivity, artistic confidence, and creative excellence in young, emerging composers nationwide.
